Who: All scouts and their immediate family are welcome to attend. Per Scouting rules, no extended family, friends, or pets, please.

When: Friday, May 8 @ 6PM to Sunday, May 10 at 10AM (feel free to stay for just one night or just the day)

Where: Cove Creek Lower Group Camp in beautiful Pisgah National Forest (near Brevard) (see detailed driving directions below)

What: Lets wrap up a great scouting year at our spring campout, featuring activities and our end-of-year crossover ceremony. Dinner is included in the price--$18/person plus Paypal fees.

Directions: From the Asheville airport, take Highway 280 west to the U.S. Highway 64/280/276 intersection at Pisgah National Forest. Turn north onto U.S. Highway 276. Go 4.5 miles to Forest Road 475A and turn left. Travel on 475A for 3 miles to the campground on the right.

What to bring: Camping gear (tents, sleeping bags, mess kit), dinner for Friday, lunch for Saturday, breakfast for Sunday morning, fishing gear (if desired), jacket for chilly evenings, Class A uniform for crossover ceremony

Important Notes: The campsite is located adjacent to a creek/waterfall. Per Scouting rules, no one may enter the water. The campsite is about 20 minutes from many food options in the Brevard area if you need to leave to get Friday dinner or Saturday lunch.
